I used a gift card on big5sportinggoods.com and it did work in the end, so that was a relief. But am I the only one who found the gift card entry spot a little hard to find? It took me a couple tries before I figured out where to put it in. Once I entered it, the balance showed up right away, which was nice. Checkout just felt kind of slow overall, and the shipping options seemed limited. My order arrived fine, so I can’t really complain too much, but the whole process wasn’t exactly smooth either.

"Pickup was easy and the inventory was accurate"
I checked big5sportinggoods.com before heading to the store because I didn’t want to waste a trip, and the shoes I wanted were showing as in stock. When I got there, they actually had the exact size and color, so that part worked out really well.

There was one other item I had seen online that said “limited stock,” but the employee couldn’t find it anywhere in the store. It was a little annoying, but not a huge deal since I know limited stock can be hit or miss.

Overall, it was a smooth experience. I’d definitely check online again before going, though if something says low or limited stock, I’d probably call first just to be safe

In my experience, the prices and items were basically the same as what I saw in the ad when I ordered. I didn’t run into any weird surprises, which I appreciated. One promo was a little confusing at checkout, but overall, it felt accurate enough to me

I found what I was looking for, so that was good. Checkout took a bit longer than I expected though, and the staff seemed kinda busy running around. Not a bad trip overall, just wish it was a little quicker

The shoes looked almost exactly like the pics, honestly!! The color was right too... maybe just a tiny bit darker in person, but not a big deal at all. Overall, I’m still really happy with them!!

"They actually did the right thing"

"I Basically Panic-Check Big 5 First Now"
I usually end up on big5sportinggoods whenever I need shoes or random sports stuff for the kids, the prices are kind of ridiculous in the best way. Like, I’ll check other stores and then come back here acting like I just uncovered a secret treasure map. The weekly deals are actually good, and the coupons and clearance section aren’t those sad little discounts that save you 80 cents. I got a pair of running shoes last month for way less than I expected, and I was embarrassingly excited about it. For the price, I’m really happy. I pretty much check Big 5 first now before I buy anything sporty.

"Helpful, but slower than I’d like"
It did help me in the end, so I can’t really complain about the result. That said, by my own standards, it took longer than I would’ve expected. I appreciate that it worked, but I’d probably be happier if the process was a bit quicker next time.

"Instructions Felt Like They Were Hiding Something"
Picked this up from Big 5, and the item itself is totally fine once it’s put together. But the assembly instructions? Weirdly confusing, like they skipped a few steps on purpose just to see who’s paying attention. Took me longer than expected, and I’m still not convinced there isn’t some secret instruction sheet they only give to employees

Logging in worked fine for me, but the settings page felt kind of clunky?? Like, I could figure it out eventually, but it wasn’t super smooth or intuitive.

"Sizing was actually spot on"
I ordered a pair of shoes and a hoodie from Big 5, they both fit exactly how I thought they would. I know people can be picky about online sizing, but the size chart was actually useful for once. I didn’t have to deal with any returns or exchanges, so I really don’t have anything to complain about.

"Pretty close to what I expected"
My order showed up about as quickly as I thought it would, and most of it was right. One item came in the wrong size, which was frustrating because I wasn’t expecting to have to deal with any issues. Customer service did get it fixed, so that helped, but it was still a bit annoying. Overall, it was fine, just not quite as smooth as I’d hoped.

The search on the site works alright most of the time, and I can usually find what I'm looking for. But every now and then it brings up stuff that feels kinda random and not really related. The filters do help, but they’re a bit clunky to use. It’s not awful or anything, it just takes longer then it should sometimes.

Ordered from big5sportinggoods.com. Basic order, nothing fancy. But the packaging was actually solid. The box wasn’t crushed or banged up, which I’ve definitely had happen with other places. Opened it up and everything was wrapped nicely inside. Nothing sliding around, nothing damaged. Just came how you’d hope it would. Small thing, but I appreciated it. I’d order from them again
